Edit Note
Business need
The edit feature allows you to keep your wellness journal up to date. You can add new test results, symptom details, or correct the event time if you forgot to specify it immediately. This helps maintain a continuous and accurate history of your health without creating duplicate entries.
Availability
Available to all authorized users.
The Health module is strictly isolated and tied only to your profile. No one, including administrators of your shared financial spaces, can view or modify your medical records.
Location
You can proceed to edit an existing record as follows:
- On the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the Health tab.
- On the opened screen, select the Notes module.
- In the list of previously created notes, tap the card of the record you want to change.
Instructions
On the opened Edit Note screen, follow these steps:
- Edit the text in the required Description field. You can add text without character limits, and the field will automatically expand.
- If necessary, change the event date by tapping the Date & Time field. A calendar and a time picker bottom sheet will open to let you set a correct value in the past.
- Tap the blue Save button at the bottom of the screen to apply your changes.
Expected result
After tapping the Save button, the text on it changes to a white circular loading indicator. Once the data is successfully saved on the server, the edit screen will close.
You will return to the notes list, which will automatically update. A green Note updated successfully notification will appear at the top of the screen. If you changed the record’s time, the note will automatically change its position in the overall list to maintain the correct chronology.
Questions and answers
Can I change the date or time of an existing note?
Yes. If you forgot to record a symptom on time and created the note later, tap the Date & Time field and set the correct day and time in the past. After saving, the chronology in your journal will automatically rebuild.
Can someone from the shared budget edit my notes?
No. The Health module is completely separated from the Money module. Your medical data is 100% private, and only you can edit it. No shared access rules apply here.
How many times can I edit a single note?
There are no limits. You can open and change your notes as many times as you need. This is convenient if you want to keep a running log of a single illness within one record, constantly adding new data throughout the day.
What happens if I erase all the text and tap Save?
The app will not allow you to save an empty note. The description field is required. In this case, you will see a red error message, and the data will not be sent to the server.
Possible errors
Interface errors:
- Required red notification - instantly appears if you completely erased the text in the description field and tried to save the record.
System errors:
- Not found notification - occurs if the note has already been deleted from another device of yours.
- Datetime has wrong format notification - occurs during a technical failure of the time format while saving.
- Given token not valid notification - means your session has expired and you need to log into the app again.
