Create Note

Business need

The wellness journal allows users to quickly and reliably record any changes in their body. Logging symptoms, blood pressure spikes, or details of a doctor’s consultation helps build an accurate timeline of events. This eliminates the need to keep medical information in your head and helps visually track your condition over time.

Availability

Available to all authorized users.

The Health module is your strictly personal space. Notes are tied exclusively to your account. Financial roles of an administrator or member from the Money module do not apply here. None of the participants in your shared budgets have access to your medical records.

Location

You can proceed to create a new note as follows:

1. Tap the Health tab on the bottom navigation bar.
2. On the opened screen with the list of modules, select Notes.
3. In the bottom right corner of the notes list, tap the Add note button with the plus icon.

Instructions

On the note creation screen, follow these steps:

1. Enter text in the required Description field. The field will automatically expand as you type.
2. Check the Date & Time field. By default, it shows the current time based on your timezone.
3. If you want to record an event retroactively, tap the Date & Time field, select the desired day in the calendar, and set the time in the bottom sheet. You cannot set a date in the future.
4. Tap the blue Save button at the bottom of the screen.

Expected result

When you tap the Save button, the text on it will change to a white circular loading indicator. After the data is successfully saved on the server, the screen will automatically close, and you will return to the notes list.

The list will update instantly, and the new record will appear in it according to the specified chronology. A green pop-up notification with the text Note created successfully will appear at the top of the screen.

Questions and answers

Can my family members see my health notes if we share a budget?

No. The Health module is strictly individual. Even if you share a financial space with your family, your medical records are 100% private and accessible only to you.

Can I create a note for a past date?

Yes. If you forgot to record a symptom yesterday, just tap the Date & Time field and select the desired day. The system will automatically sort your journal in the correct chronological order. You cannot select a future date.

Is there a character limit for the description?

No, there are no strict text length limits. You can enter both short blood pressure readings and very detailed descriptions of recommendations from your doctor.

Can I attach a photo of a prescription or test results?

Currently, the notes functionality only supports text.

Possible errors

Interface errors:

• Required red pop-up notification - appears if you try to save a note with an empty description field or text consisting only of spaces. The request is not sent to the server.

System errors:

• Datetime has wrong format notification - occurs in case of a technical failure when sending the selected date and time to the server.
• Given token not valid notification - means your security session has expired and you need to log into the app again.
