Health

Overview of the personal tracker: food diary, wellness journal, and pill schedule.

Business need

The Health module is your personal assistant for monitoring your physical condition. It is not overloaded with complex medical terms but focuses on transparent and fast tracking of nutrition, habits, and medication. It is a secure digital environment that helps maintain discipline and collect basic statistics about your body in a single app.

Availability

Available to all authorized users.

The module is designed as a strictly confidential space. Architecturally, it is completely isolated from financial budgets. Administrator or member roles from other modules have no power here - only you have access to your diaries and schedules.

Location

The health module is built into the main navigation bar:

  1. Tap the Health tab (heart icon) on the bottom navigation bar.
  2. The opened main screen presents a list of three independent sections: Food (nutrition), Notes (wellness journal), and Pills (medications).

Instructions

Each submodule has a standardized interface with view mode switches (tabs) and main action buttons. Key features include:

  • Food diary (Food) - allows you to record meals. Tap the Add Meal button to create an entry. You can manually enter macros or attach photos (up to 6) so the built-in artificial intelligence can analyze the dish and provide an estimate.
  • Notes - your medical diary. Tap Add note to record symptoms, blood pressure, or a doctor’s recommendations. The text field has no length limits, so you can save long consultation protocols.
  • Pill tracker (Pills) - helps you not miss medications. On the Tracker tab, you can add a one-time intake using the Add one time button. To create a course, go to the Recurring tab and tap Add recurring, specifying the start and finish dates. The system will generate a schedule for each day (up to 180 days in advance).
  • Status management - in the pill tracker, you can tap the status icon to the left of the medication name to quickly mark it as Taken or Skipped.
  • File attachments - thanks to the universal uploader, you can attach not only photos but also electronic documents (PDF, Word) up to 10 MB to your medical records. AI analysis only works with images.

Expected result

Upon saving records, the form screens automatically close, returning you to the updated list.

Green success notifications always appear on the screen: Meal added successfully, Note updated successfully, or Schedule created. When data is deleted from the module, physical deletion is applied with no possibility of recovery to ensure maximum privacy.

Questions and answers

Is the Health module a medical app?

No. Small Metrics Health is a personal assistant and habit tracker. The app does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, and in no way replaces a consultation with a professional doctor. AI macro estimates are approximate.

Do I need to manually enter the calories of my meals?

Not necessarily. You can simply photograph your food (up to 6 photos per meal), and the built-in artificial intelligence will analyze the image, providing an estimated calculation of calories and macronutrients right in the app.

How do I set up a medication course?

In the Pills module, go to the Recurring tab and tap the Add recurring button. Specify the medication name, dosage, start and end dates of the course, as well as the exact times of intake. The system will automatically generate a schedule for each day.

Can shared budget members see my health data?

Absolutely not. The Health module operates in a completely isolated environment. Even if you share a financial budget with a partner who has Admin rights, they have zero access to your nutrition, symptoms, or medications.

How far in advance can I schedule my medication?

When you create a new course, the system automatically generates individual intake reminders for up to 180 days in advance. This covers most standard prescriptions and seasonal vitamin courses.
