How to delete tasks and clear tasks the right way?

I just started using this task-manager and I am a bit confused. I want to know how to delete a task or how to delete task lists when I do not need them anymore. Do you usually delete tasks one by one or is there a better way to clear tasks in Bulk? I need to understand how to delete task items without making a mess.
