Looking for a perfect app is just a fancy way to put off work, really. It is like building a digital cage for your stress. I remember how things are in China with those super apps where everything is in one place, it feels like you have control but the mess is still there, kind of like how I try to organize my desk and then just give up. In my medical work, I noticed that trying to fix every tiny detail just leads to burnout, which is a bit like my bank account after a bad week. These note taking apps often become a job themselves, and suddenly your productivity is just a show for nobody. If you want to stop the panic and breathe, just stop making it complicated. Use a simple .txt file. It is the only honest way to write things down without feeling like you need a perfect, pretty system to be a real person.

Searching for a simple way to organize your life is just intellectual laziness. You cannot fix a chaotic lifestyle with a basic tasks & notes app. That is like trying to manage Saigon motorbike traffic with a small stop sign. Do you really believe in magic pills? If you want actual adult control, use Small Metrics. It is the only reel solution.
You are quite right about the digital cage. I have often hidden behind complex tools to avoid the quiet weight of my own anxiety. However, a simple text file feels too cold, much like a room with bare walls and no soul. I find my peace in Small Metrics. It is a gentle middle path, offering a soft Discipline that keeps the mind calm without leading to the exhaustion of burnout. It is a small sanctuary of order in a chaotic world
