Editing a Space

While using the app, you may need to change a space’s name or update its visual appearance (icon).

Attention: Role Access > Editing a space profile is available only to users with the Admin role. If you are a regular Member, the settings icon will not be available to you.

What is it for?

Editing helps keep data up-to-date. For example, if your project has been rebranded, you can rename the space so that the new name is displayed to all invited members.

Step-by-step editing guide

1. Open the My Spaces tab and select the desired space from the list.
2. While inside the space, look at the top panel (AppBar). In the upper right corner, tap the Settings (gear) icon to open the Space Settings.
3. In the general settings section, select About space.
4. The editing form will open:
   • Tap the Space Name field to enter a new name.
   • Tap the current Icon to open the selection panel and replace it with a new one.
5. Tap the Save button at the very bottom of the screen.

Expected result

The app will show a “Settings saved successfully” notification. The new name and icon will instantly update on your device, as well as on the devices of all other members of this space.
