Latest updates and improvements to Small Metrics

CSV Import (Web App): Added the functionality to import category and transaction data in CSV format from other budget management systems.

Cookie Consent: Implemented a Cookie Consent banner on the landing page in full compliance with European legislation (GDPR).
Delete Checkpoints: Added the ability to delete existing balance checkpoints (manual reconciliations) directly within the app.
New Email Provider: We have switched to the Brevo service for sending system notifications. Emails with verification codes and password reset links are now delivered instantly and with maximum reliability.
Site Analytics: Integrated Google Analytics and Google Search Console for deep analysis of our web version’s performance. This will help us identify UI bottlenecks and improve the overall user experience.
Document Updates: Updated the Privacy Policy regarding the integration of new third-party data processors (Brevo and Google).

Careers Section: Added a new dedicated “Careers” section to the Small Metrics landing page and moved all current job vacancies to this centralized location for easier navigation.

My Spaces Redesign: We have completely revamped the “My Spaces” dashboard to provide a more intuitive and organized experience when managing your different financial areas.
Historical Exchange Rates: The application now utilizes historical exchange rates for all currency conversions. Calculations are accurately performed using the specific rate from the date the transaction was made.

Google Analytics Integration: Added Google Analytics to the landing page to better analyze visitor behavior and optimize the user experience.
Auto Language Detection: Implemented automatic language detection based on browser settings, ensuring visitors are automatically directed to the correct version of Small Metrics (English, Russian, or Bulgarian).
Product Documentation: Published the first part of our official user documentation, including detailed guides on account management and data deletion.

Recurring Transactions: You can now set up weekly and quarterly recurring transactions to better match your actual payment schedules.
Monthly Averages: The Recurring Transactions settings now automatically calculate and display your average monthly expenses and income, helping you better understand your regular financial commitments.
Recurring Reminders: Added a dedicated “Recurring” section within the Transactions tab to easily view, apply, or skip your upcoming and past-due recurring payment reminders.

New Branding: The application has been updated with a brand new logo and fresh icons.

App Installation Guide: Added a dedicated “Install App” screen in the Profile section providing step-by-step instructions for installing Small Metrics on your device.
Advanced Transaction Search: Implemented a new, comprehensive search and filtering system directly on the Transactions tab to easily find specific transactions.
Quick List Search: Added search functionality to easily find specific items within Expenses and Income categories, Space members, and pending invitations.
Category Consolidation: When deleting a category, you can now seamlessly transfer its existing transactions to another selected category instead of losing their categorization.

Global Currencies: Added a complete list of world currencies to better support users globally.
Currency Selection: Introduced a newly designed currency picker screen, featuring localized names and clear currency symbols for easier navigation.
FIX: Corrected a calculation error in the Goal Forecast chart that previously caused inflated projected figures.

Custom Icons: You can now assign unique icons to your Spaces and Categories for better visual organization.
Cash on Hands: Introduced a dedicated “Cash on Hands” feature to help families reconcile their actual money with the app’s records.
Redesigned Interface: The Cash on Hands screen has been revamped (separating it from the general Analytics view) for clearer balance control.
FIX: Corrected the sorting order of transactions occurring on the same day to ensure the most recent ones appear first.
FIX: Resolved an issue that occasionally blocked the display of current values for the selected period on the Analytics screen.

Hidden Spaces: You can now hide spaces from your main list to keep your dashboard clean without deleting data.
Email Change: Added the ability to change your account email address in Profile settings.
Password Reset: Implemented a secure “Forgot Password” flow.
Enhanced Security: Added 5-digit OTP (verification code) via email for password recovery and email change operations.
Email Notifications: You will now receive confirmation emails upon successful registration and password changes.
Smart Timezone: Automatically detecting your timezone during registration for accurate transaction dates.
Web Update: Added a favicon for app.smallmetrics.cc.
FIX: Resolved an issue limiting lists to 50 items. You can now see all your Spaces (My Spaces, Settings) and Categories (Expenses, Income).

Introduced a dedicated Release Notes section.
Complete redesign of the landing page.
Added on-click validation to Profile screens (General Settings, Change Password, Delete Account).
In-app notifications now appear at the top of the screen.
Added logos to the Login and Sign Up screens.
FIX: Name and surname changes now update immediately across the entire app.
FIX: Resolved an issue where Analytics chart data might be missing due to timezone differences.
Renamed “User” field to “Assigned to” on Transaction screens.
New “Languages” screen in Profile with cross-device language synchronization.
Moved name settings to “General Settings” and removed the “About User” screen.
Updated Bulgarian and Russian localizations.
